The opportunity

MMC Australia Pty Ltd is seeking experienced and qualified Boilermakers and Welders to join our team in Darwin, NT on a casual basis. As a Boilermaker or Welder, you will play a vital role in the production and maintenance of high-quality metal fabrications and structures for our diverse range of clients.

Key responsibilities

Performing welding and fabrication tasks to the highest standard, adhering to strict quality and safety protocols

Reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications to ensure accurate construction

Operating a variety of welding equipment and machinery, including MIG, TIG, and stick welders

Collaborating with the team to troubleshoot issues and find efficient solutions

Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe work environment

Participating in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date with industry best practices

What we're looking for

Formal qualifications in boilermaking or welding, such as a Certificate III or higher

Demonstrated experience in a similar role, ideally within the Trades & Services industry

Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and schematics

Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality and safety

Excellent problem-solving and collaboration skills

Flexibility to adapt to changing demands and priorities
