As we continue to expand, we are seeking a dedicated HR Generalist to join our head office in Perth City.
Your New Role
Reporting directly to the HR Manager you will be instrumental in delivering end-to-end HR support across the business. Your role will span from employee relations, compliance, return-to-work programs, policy development, training and more. You’ll be a key partner in driving a positive and compliant workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage workers compensation claims and coordinator safe and timely return-to-work processes.
- Prepare, review and issue employment documentation including contracts, variations, and promotion letters.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of HR systems, processes, and tools to support operational efficiency and employee experience.
- Respond to HR-related enquiries from employees and leaders with accurate, timely, and policy-aligned advice.
- Apply knowledge of the Fair Work Act, National Employment Standards, and the Hospitality Industry (General) Award (HIGA) to support compliant HR practices.
- Support Leaders and employees to maintain strong working relationships and high productivity/retention rates.
- Lead and provide expert guidance on employee relations matters, including performance management, investigations, grievances, and disciplinary actions.
- Ensure all employee visa requirements are met, including documentation and compliance with relevant obligations.
What You'll Bring:
- Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Industry Relations, Management, or a related field.
- 3 years’ experience in a HR Generalist or similar role.
- Solid understanding and practical experience in Work Health & Safety principles, processes, and systems.
- Strong knowledge of employment law and relevant legislation, with a proven ability to apply this knowledge to ensure compliance and support sound decision-making.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
