The Role:

We are seeking a Dealership Accountant to oversee the financial operations across our Albury Mazda and Audi Centre Albury dealership. This role is pivotal in ensuring financial integrity and supporting strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage day-today accounting functions

Prepare monthly management reports, P&L’s, and forecasts

Monitor cashflow, budgets and conduct variance analysis

Ensure compliance with tax and financial regulations

Maintain accurate vehicle stock control and floorplan reporting

Lead end-of-month processes, reconciliations, and financial close

Liaise with external auditors and internal teams as needed

Oversee procurement and supplier agreements

Manage payroll and oversee HR compliance

Develop and implement financial policies and procedures

Collaborate with department heads to optimise financial performance

About You:

Minimum of 2 years in a similar financial accounting role

CPA or CA qualification preferred

Experience with DMS or within the automotive industry is advantageous but not essential

Strong leadership and team management skills

Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
