Job description

The position vacant is for a Cook for our community (20-30 people) in a full commercial kitchen. Hours : 3-4 weekdays only, 9am to 2pm

Duties will include :

* preparation and cleanup of main midday meal and occasional dessert

* meal planning in consultation with kitchen supervisor, with consideration to GF and other dietary considerations

* ensuring adequate supplies in store for planned meals

* ensuring kitchen is maintained as a clean and safe work space

The successful applicant will :

* have training in Food Safety Handling

* be meticulous in hygiene and cleanliness

* be able to work alone with limited supervision

* have own transport (no public transport available)

All successful candidates will undergo pre-employment checks including :

* 2 reference checks

* Police check

* Working rights in Australia (passport, birth certificate, etc)
