Chandler Macleod is currently seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our Federal Government client based in Port Adelaide. This is a full-time temporary contract through to June 2026, offering a fantastic opportunity to contribute to high-impact national projects.
As Project Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in delivering complex projects and initiatives, providing expert project management services and leadership across planning, mobilisation, and execution. You’ll work closely with senior executives, managers, and project teams to ensure the smooth and timely delivery of objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, scheduling, and estimating of project tasks to meet objectives
  
  
• Develop and maintain comprehensive project documentation and reports
  
  
• Oversee mobilisation activities, including the deployment of embedded and seconded personnel
  
  
• Provide high-level support and advice to senior stakeholders
  
  
• Mentor project staff and foster strong internal project management capability
  
  
• Manage risks, issues, and dependencies across the project lifecycle
  
  
• Support review and approval processes for key project deliverables
• Utilise project management tools and methodologies to monitor progress and ensure delivery

About You To be successful in this role, you will bring:

• Proven project management experience in a Federal Government setting
  
  
• Strong planning, scheduling, and analytical capabilities
  
  
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  
  
• Demonstrated experience leading multidisciplinary teams
  
  
• Familiarity with project mobilisation and deployment of personnel
  
  
• Strong documentation, presentation, and reporting skills
  
  
• Proficiency in project management software
  
  
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field
  
  
• Minimum 5 years of project management experience
  
  
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a dynamic environment
  
  
• High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
  
  
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
  
  
• Willingness to travel to the UK if required
