Our Perth Nursery, based in Oakford WA, has an exciting opportunity available for an experienced Nursery Manager, reporting directly to the Operations Manager. As a ‘hands on’ manager you will be accountable for the day-to-day Nursery operations.

The main duties for this role include, but are not limited to:

• Accountable for the day to day operation of the Nursery
• To ensure daily production and maintenance duties are completed
• Organise repairs and maintenance of buildings, vehicles and nursery production equipment
• Stock management including the purchasing of stock, maintaining supplier relationships, stock rotation, quality assurance and distribution to branches
• Assist on major installations and removals and be available to help service customers' sites when required

To ensure your success in this role, you should have:

• Certificate in Horticulture or related field
• Relevant industry experience
• Strong project management and planning skills
• Strong and proven leadership capability
• Ability to communicate and interact effectively with cross functional teams and suppliers
• Effective time management and organisational skills
• Experience in the use of computer software including Microsoft office and other basic equipment
• Able to handle multiple tasks and projects concurrently and successfully
• Demonstrated ability to meet assigned targets and deadlines consistently
