About the Role

The Swimming Coordinator at Padua College plays a pivotal role in shaping a dynamic and inclusive aquatic program that fosters water safety, skill development, and a passion for swimming.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

• Coordinate and oversee the delivery of the Padua College Learn to Swim program, including scheduling, class levels and progression systems.
• Document lesson plans, including the key risk assessments, associated with each lesson plan.
• Monitor and review programs and proactively make recommendations for improvements.
• Prepare rosters and manage staff availability, ensuring coverage for all Learn To Swim lessons.

To be considered for this role, you should have:

• AUSTSWIM Teacher of Swimming and Water Safety qualification (or equivalent)
• Demonstrated experience in swim school program delivery and staff coordination.
• Current CPR and First Aid Certificate.
• Current positive Working with Children Check.
• National Pool Lifeguard certificate.
