About the role

We're looking for an ICT Support and Data Test Engineer who is curious, detail-oriented and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment. This role bridges technical support and data quality assurance, working closely with developers, analysts and business stakeholders to ensure our solutions are accurate, reliable and high performing.

ICT systems support and troubleshooting within Microsoft 365 environments

Validating and testing data to support accurate reporting

Working with business stakeholders to enhance systems and processes

Managing incidents, change requests and system documentation

Responsibilities

Proactively identify system performance improvements to reduce incidents and enhance the user experience

Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications

Troubleshoot and resolve issues with systems and reports, including data inconsistencies and performance concerns

Work with developers and analysts to ensure data is structured appropriately for reporting and system functionality

Analyse test data, prepare reports and present findings to stakeholders

Manage and track all faults and design validation issues raised during testing, working with relevant experts to resolve them

Facilitate communication between users and management, promoting compliance with quality standards and procedures

Review performance test results to identify bottlenecks and areas for optimisation

Provide input on data collection and taxonomy design to support efficient report development

Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including operational guides and test plans

Skills and experience

The ideal candidate will have:

Experience providing ICT support, particularly within Microsoft 365 and Azure environments

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Understanding of testing principles and reporting tools such as SQL and Power BI

Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills

Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Previous experience in consulting, MSP or project delivery environments is highly regarded
