The Association of Commercial Air Conditioning Contractors (ACACC) started in mid-2021, and prior to that was the ACT branch of a national association. The association has around 14 member companies, and the member companies cover all facets of the commercial air conditioning industry in the ACT and surrounding areas of New South Wales. Aside from the Executive Director, there are two other part-time staff – a Marketing and Administration Officer and an Accounts Officer (the latter works for an external firm). The current staff work in a Wotso shared office space in Canberra and from home. If more members are recruited, there is scope for the role to grow to two or more days a week.

Role description:

● Communication of industry news, events and issues through monthly e-newsletters and other eDMs.

● Create engaging social media marketing posts for LinkedIn (with potential for other platforms).

● Design, edit, and format documents, flyers, and images for digital use.

● Filing and submitting forms as required

● Prepare and format basic reports or summaries.

● Respond promptly to members and general enquiries.

● Liaise with careers advisors as needed.

● Providing additional administration support to the Executive Director as needed.

Skills, experience and attributes:

● Great organisational and communication skills.

● Professional presentation and manner.

● Ability to develop and maintain good relationships.

● Think creatively to increase income from products and advertising reach.

● Marketing experience related to account management, brands and/or products, online content and social media.

● Experience creating and editing collateral and products (banners, logos, brochures).

● Experience preferred using the following software or similar: WordPress, Canva, Mailchimp, and InDesign software.

● Graphic design skills preferred.
