We’re looking for an enthusiastic and detail-focused Full-Time Medical Receptionist to join our established vibrant team at Medicare Mental Health Centre in Lismore. In this role, you’ll provide professional, confidential, and high-level reception and administrative support to our team. Your warm and welcoming presence will help create a friendly and efficient environment, ensuring every client receives exceptional care from the moment they walk through our doors.

The hours of this role are negotiable between 9:00 - 6pm weekdays, with the possibility of weekend work.

What you will do on a day-to-day basis:

  • Deliver warm, attentive customer service to all clients and visitors.
  • Manage incoming calls, schedule and confirm appointments, and provide exceptional customer service at all times.
  • Maintain high standards of accuracy and detail across all administrative duties.
  • Collaborate seamlessly with a multidisciplinary team to support smooth day-to-day operations.

What we are looking for:

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • High attention to detail and excellent organisational abilities
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Demonstrated experience working in an administrative and/or reception role within a similar environment
  • Proficiency in medical software systems (desirable)

  • Current Driver Licence
  • Current Working with Children Check (Blue Card) or ability to hold one
  • Current Police Check (completed within the last three months)
