Coast Port Beach is an Iconic Australian Beachside venue.

Coast offers the full range of events from Weddings to 2,500 person concerts and events.

We are looking for a motivated, client focused and enthusiastic Event Supervisor (Contract). This person is responsible for overseeing a team of Food and Beverage Attendants that have a collective goal of ensuring a seamless delivery of all our Weddings, Corporate Functions and associated events held at the Venue to client satisfaction & venue standards.

The role has a mix of floor and office hours that would suit a duty manager looking to upskill, or a junior Events person looking for a new challenge to advance their career, with additional performance-based incentives.

Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

Liaising with Event Manager & Head Chef

Setting and dressing event spaces.

Delivering Event specifications in real time in accordance with Event Run Sheets.

Overseeing Events including Weddings, Corporate events and social functions.

Managing the Event Wait & Bar team.

Accurately processing Events charge accounts.

Monitoring the Customer Experience to ensure client expectations are exceeded.

Learning the Event Coordinator role and helping with the sales leads as required.

Working Front of House when required as a duty manager

The successful candidate ideally will have :

Minimum 1 year experience in similar role.

IVVY and Hubspot experience. (some not essential)

Great people skills with personality to match

The ability to work flexible hours

Fantastic communications skills, a positive attitude and a willingness to create a fantastic experience for all of our quests

Attention to detail and highly organised

Knowledge in Excel, Hubspot, Word and other digital media is an advantage
