Lifeline has been operating in Tasmania since 1973, commencing as two chapters (Lifeline North West and Lifeline Hobart) which merged in 2012 to form Lifeline Tasmania, we are now a single organisation incorporated in Tasmania, with state-wide reach and community connections.
Lifeline Tasmania’s values of Respect, Care and Support, Optimism, Inclusion and Social Leadership provide a framework of behaviours that guide the way we interact with each other, our clients and the community.
The Opportunity
Lifeline Tasmania's Training and Support assist Tasmanians to create safe and supportive workplaces, playing a vital role in building a stronger, more resilient Tasmania.
We may be a small team of expert facilitators and behind-the-scenes legends, but our impact is mighty. And now, we’re growing.
Focusing on the Nationally recognised DV Alert Program, we are on the lookout for a compassionate part-time Facilitator to deliver high quality, engaging, face-to-face workshops across Tasmania.
About You

Motivated to make an impact, you’re comfortable and confident independently delivering face-to-face workshops on sensitive topics—and you know how to keep an audience both engaged and supported.
Having had at least 12 months demonstrated experience working in the Domestic Violence sector, you are compassionate and engaging and bring professional knowledge and empathy to your work.
Able to take even the toughest audience along for the ride, your highly developed, informative and engaging communication skills allow you to relate to a variety of demographics and learning styles.
Consistently learning yourself, you ensure your knowledge around contemporary facilitation best practice is maintained and are happy to share your thoughts around continuous improvement opportunities or gaps in the market when the idea grabs you.
The Technical bits…
To be considered for this opportunity, you must:
You have (or can quickly acquire) the Unit of Competency CHCDFV001: Recognise and respond appropriately to domestic and family violence.
