Position: Commercial Electricians / Data-Cable Technicians
Location: Busselton, WA
Pay Rate: $40 to $55 p/h plus penalties and a daily travel allowance
Employment Type: Casual

RecruitWest together with an industry leader, currently has multiple positions available for qualified Commercial Electricians and experienced Cable Technicians, to work on the recently built Busselton Entertainment Centre.

What you will be doing:

Electrician and/or Data Cable Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, setting up and troubleshooting of cabling infrastructure.

This includes:

Install data cables (Cat5e, Cat6, fiber optic)

Install and troubleshoot lighting systems, power distribution and control systems

Perform testing and inspections to ensure compliance with electrical codes and safety standards

Configure network switches and routers

Test and certify cable installations

Maintain accurate documentation of cabling systems

Ensure all installations meet safety and industry standards

Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during installation and setup

What you will need:

Current EWP SCISSOR LIFT ticket is a must have (Yellow Card Equivalent)

Previous experience installing cables and cable trays, essential

A Grade Electrical Licence - Required for working on all aspects of electrical installation

Proven experience as a Commercial Electrician, essential

Valid Driver’s License and own transport

Full Australian working rights
