About the role

Evcore is seeking a motivated and driven diesel mechanic / Plant Mechanic to be based at our Perth Branch. The primary role is to complete pre-delivery servicing, with the potential to carry out in field servicing and maintenance, on a broad range of our equipment, including wheel loaders, material handlers, Excavators, graders and dozers. You will also be responsible for the diagnosing of mechanical, hydraulic and electrical faults, including over the phone diagnosis.

Duties & Responsibilities

Complete pre-delivery services

Diagnosing and repairing mechanical hydraulic and electrical issues.

Maintain our service vehicles

Sustaining customer relationships.

Maintaining & repairing equipment in the workshop and field.

Major and minor services.

Carrying out general workshop duties as required

Completing Service Job Cards/Reports

Requirements and Qualifications

Australian recognised trade certificate (Heavy Vehicles)

Previous experience servicing and maintaining heavy and light diesel products

Strong communication skills

Strong organisational skills

Commitment to maintain, and adhere to safety guidelines in the workplace

Able to work as part of a team or individually

Honest, reliable, and punctual

Must have a current driver's license and know how to drive manual vehicles

Alcohol and drug testing

Willing to undertake a police clearance
