The Opportunity:
- Part-Time 0.4 EFT | Ongoing contract of employment
- TL $85,644 - $121,462 per annum pro rata + 12% super + leave loading (dependent on qualifications and experience)
- Chadstone/Waverley/Moorabbin campuses – onsite parking with close proximity to public transport
Holmesglen Vocational College offers a supportive environment where secondary students can complete their Years 11 and 12 through the VCE Vocational Major (VCE VM).

As a Teacher – Vocational College, you will:
- Teach VPC/VCE VM subjects to young and senior secondary students.
- Develop differentiated learning materials to meet the needs of diverse students.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance program delivery and student outcomes.
- Prepare students for future study and employment opportunities.
- Foster an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
To be successful, you’ll have:
- Four-year teaching degree or postgraduate qualification with current VIT registration.
- Demonstrated experience working with disengaged youth and applying trauma-informed teaching strategies.
- Compassionate approach supported by strong classroom management and relationship-building skills.
- Sound knowledge and/or practical experience in trauma-informed practice and inclusive pedagogies.
- Proven ability to engage junior and senior students through inclusive teaching and tailored, youth-focused learning programs in respectful, supportive environments.
- WWCC and Police Check: Appointment to this position is dependent on obtaining an ‘employee’ Working with Children Check, and also a valid Police Check within the last 12 months.
