Overview:

We are looking for a skilled Forklift Operator to work in our scrap metal recycling facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating a forklift to move, load, and unload scrap metal materials.

Responsibilities:

• Operate a forklift to move and handle scrap metal materials within the facility
• Load and unload materials from trucks and storage areas
• Ensure the safe and efficient operation of the forklift
• Maintain a clean and organised work environment
• Adhere to safety protocols and procedures at all times

• Qualifications:
• Valid forklift operator certification/license
• Proven experience as a forklift operator, preferably in a scrap metal or recycling environment
• Knowledge of safety procedures and guidelines for forklift operation
• Physical strength and stamina to handle heavy materials
• Attention to detail and meticulous adherence to safety protocols

• Day-to-day:
• Ability to work across morning and afternoon shifts
• Operate the forklift to move and handle scrap metal materials
• Safely load and unload trucks and storage areas
• Maintain a clean and organised work environment
• Adhere to safety protocols and procedures
