About the Role
Our Wee Waa Pool Team Leader role is pivotal in ensuring our swimming facilities operate like a well-oiled machine. You'll take the helm in monitoring and maintaining the pool's plant, equipment, and facilities while also guiding our staff through the ins and outs of safe equipment operations and handling. Your responsibilities will include:
- Undertake administration duties, including cash handling, balancing and banking and general administration.
- Leading by example by offering direction, support and training to nurture an environment where growth and skills enhancement flourish.
- Oversee the daily operations of the team, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Assisting the Front Desk and Kiosk with managing customer interactions, stock orders, entry procedures and upholding Public Health protocols.
Additionally, as our Team Leader you'll step into the role of lifeguard, ready to jump into action with your rescue and first aid expertise whenever the need arises, safeguarding the well-being of our swimmers.

This role may be required to rotate around Narrabri Shire Aquatic Facilities to support operational needs.
Please note, the Wee Waa Pool Team Leader will be required to return to Narrabri Aquatic Centre over the winter shut down period.
About You
As our ideal candidate, you will be a problem-solver at heart, with a keen eye for detail and a knack for keeping things running smoothly. You’ve got the skills of a lifeguard, a passion for pristine pools, an unwavering commitment to safety as well as:
- A certified pool lifeguard skillset.
- Experience in pool plant and equipment maintenance and operation.
- A track record of diving headfirst into leadership roles and making a positive splash.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
