Brancourt Dairy Australia Pty Ltd is a family owned and operated company based in the Hunter Region that has been servicing the dairy industry for 129 years.

We are looking to increase our Maintenance Department with an experienced Electrician who is willing to go the extra mile and ensure that the job is done correctly and on time.

Your new role will see you reporting to the Maintenance Manager. You will be working with varied systems and processing equipment. You may be required to work a rotating roster to cover all production shifts. Weekend and after hours overtime maintenance will be required from time to time.

Typical Duties Include:

Preventative maintenance (electrical and mechanical)

Time critical breakdowns

Process improvement and upgrades

Liaise with Contractors onsite

To be considered for this position the ideal candidate MUST meet the following:

Permanent Australian work rights

Licensed Electrician

C Class drivers license

Ability to work in a team environment and unsupervised

Good literacy and numeracy skills

Effective communication skills

Able to work to and interpret electrical drawings

Desire to learn with initiative to ask questions

This is a permanent role in the maintenance department with the opportunity to experience a wide variety of different work.

Advantageous Skills and Experience

Experience within a food production environment is highly advantageous, but not a prerequisite.

Suits a person looking for longevity in a permanent role, with career prospects.

Flexible with weekend work

Be a team member with a good attitude & work unsupervised

Prepared to help other maintenance staff

PLC & SCADA experience and troubleshooting would be an advantage, but training will be given.

EWP and Forklift License, Working at Heights

A strong safety focus as well as a strong focus on quality of work

Flexibility to work extended shifts if required

Good time management skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize workload

Any Mechanical qualifications or skills will be highly regarded
