This role will have a focus on the Fleet Information Environment Modernisation to enable the Navy to " fight and win at sea ". This system will provide Command and Control between the Headquarters and other Naval platforms.

Candidates will require a current NV1 clearance and a proven understanding of the full systems engineering lifecycle. Candidates with direct experience working with Ship Class SPO's are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute detail plans for specific Navy platforms
• Identify engineering risks, issues and opportunities
• Develop and implement relevant engineering documentation
• Provide strategic, specialist and professional engineering advice
• Establish engineering control processes and practices
• Liaise with Defence stakeholders including ADF, APS and Contractors
• Foster a working environment that is focused on meeting the requirements of customers, both external and internal

Skills & Experience required:

• Bachelors of Engineering
• Demonstrated ability to engage with Defence stakeholders including ADF, APS and contractors
• Experience in preparing and delivering project documentation expected under the Defence Capability Life Cycle desirable
• Proven background working in the Defence Maritime domain
• Experience with Navy AD514 Engineering process
• Meet ITAR compliancy
• Current/Reinstatable NV1 Clearance
