About the role…

This casual position is based in our Breakthru unit, in our Community Supports program based from 📍 Rydalmere but you may work across Ryde and Paramatta

Your work will support:

Accessing the community for shopping, appointments and day-to-day activities

Participation in a range of scheduled activities in our hub such as cooking, art, outdoor physical activities and excursions

Engagement in social events

Transportation assistance where required

Meal preparation and other in-home supports

Occasionally assisting the SLES team.

About the night..

You are invited to🔥apply to attend our online Assessment night for this position. This online event gives you the opportunity to meet our leaders and teams making a difference in the community, learn about becoming a Support Worker at Breakthru and participate in some online assessments. Spots are on a selection only basis, are limited and invite only. The selection process includes a survey to be completed and assessed in order to receive an invite to the evening. Should you be successful to attend the recruitment evening the details are as follows:

Date: Wednesday 30th July 2025

Time: 3:30pm NSW

Location: Online Teams Event

At this event you will have the chance to learn about Breakthru - who we are and how you can join us to make a difference as a Support Worker. You will be given key information about Breakthru as an organisation, get the opportunity to meet Key Leaders working with us and have the unique chance to ask them any questions you might have.

Just attending the evening gives you access to be:

Selected to progress to the next steps in the process

Invited for a face to face coffee catch up

Added to the talent pool for future opportunities

The casual pay range on these roles is between $40.25 -$43.92 per hour. Relevant certificates or qualifications with at least 12 months experience, attract the higher rate. Saturday shifts attract 50% loading.
