The Role (20-25 hours per week)

This is a hands-on, dynamic role where no two weeks are the same. Your key responsibilities will include:

Event Management – Onsite at the Distillery

Manage and grow our private event and function offering (e.g. birthdays, corporate bookings, gin masterclasses)

Deliver end-to-end event coordination including client liaison, quoting, scheduling, staff coordination and post-event follow-up

Ensure every event delivers a premium, smooth and unforgettable guest experience

Work closely with the venue team to coordinate stock, set-up, styling and pack down

Maintain function calendar and manage bookings

External Events & Activations

Plan and execute Spirit of Little Things' presence at key WA events and festivals

Coordinate logistics, staffing, stock movement and bump-in/bump-out

Be a key brand ambassador at trade and consumer events

Marketing Support

Collaborate with our Director and agency partners on marketing activities and campaigns

Assist with content creation (photography, reels, stories) for social media and email marketing

Support PR, influencer partnerships and promotions

Keep our website and listings updated with current event information and offerings

About You

High attention to detail and excellent organisational skills, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities

A proactive and positive attitude, with the confidence to take ownership of events and respond calmly under pressure

Experience using event management or booking software ( We use, Now Bookit)

Availability to work evenings and weekends based on event bookings

A genuine passion for hospitality and delivering standout guest experiences.

You’ll ideally bring:

3+ years experience in event management, hospitality marketing or similar

Exceptional organisational and communication skills

Experience managing events from end to end

An eye for detail and high standards for customer experience

Ability to work autonomously and solve problems on the fly

Comfort working evenings and weekends (Thursday–Saturday on-site, flexible across Tuesday–Wednesday for planning/admin)

RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) essential

Social media or marketing background essential - you can kill it on socials
