The Position

As the Customer Service Manager, you will lead the customer service function and oversee day-to-day operations, with a focus on developing a high-performing team and driving service excellence across the organisation. Reporting directly to senior leadership, you will manage a small, dedicated team and be responsible for the end-to-end order-to-delivery process, ensuring all customer interactions are handled with efficiency, accuracy, and professionalism.

  • Manage and mentor a dedicated customer service team to achieve service and performance goals
  • Oversee the customer service workflow, including order processing, inquiries, warranty and escalations
  • Work closely with internal teams includng sales, logistics, and production, to ensure a seamless customer experience
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices
  • Monitor KPIs and ensure service standards are met or exceeded

The Candidate

The successful applicant will be a confident communicator and problem solver who enjoys building relationships and influencing outcomes and will display the following skills:

  • Proven experience in a customer service leadership role, preferably within a manufacturing or distribution industry
  • Strong people management skills with a focus on coaching and development
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
  • High level of organisational and problem-solving skills
  • Familairty using ERP/CRM system (SAP)
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and coaching skills
