The Role:

• Lead ECT in our 3 to 4 Kindy group
• Promoting language development through storytelling, role play, songs, rhymes, and discussions
• Observing students to evaluate progress and detect signs of ill health or emotional disturbance
• Observing nutritional health, welfare, and safety needs of students
• Discussing students' progress with parents
• Attending parent interviews, staff, and committee meetings
• Participating in community and family support programs

Core Objectives Include:

• Plan, coordinate and implement and evaluate an early childhood learning program that encourages children and families to value life long learning.
• develop, implement and evaluate customised education programs that meet the individual needs and interests of children and the learning outcomes of the service.
• assist in the day to day management of the Centre
• Keep staff and families well informed of the individual children's development needs and provide advice and guidance where needed

MUST HAVE:

• Bachelor of Education Early Childhood Degree or ACECQA-approved ECT
• VIT

• Genuine passion and care for children
• Team player who enjoys being with a caring, fun team
• Current Working with Children Card
• Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
• Ability to work full-time
