Here’s the good news – a rare opportunity for an energetic person to work in our busy maintenance team and be a part of our very community minded club has become available. The work is physically demanding but very rewarding, as you are a part of the hub that helps maintain the presentation of the club and keep everything running smoothly.

Some of what you’ll be doing:

Plumbing repairs

WH&S and legislative compliance

Quality control and continuous improvement

Preventative maintenance

Reactive work and repairs

General handyperson work including some carpentry

Maintenance and cleanliness of outdoor, workshop and garbage areas

General housekeeping/cleaning

Garden maintenance and landscaping

Ideally you will have:

Trade qualification in plumbing

Knowledge of general building maintenance and repairs

Demonstrated ability to organise and prioritise

Able to work at heights (ladders/roofs) and in small spaces (not confined)

Able to work in a team environment or unsupervised

Current driver’s license

Some other stuff we’d like:

Emergency warden experience

Fire extinguisher certification

Previous general maintenance experience in a large facility

The role is generally Monday to Friday 7.00am-3.30pm, however some flexibility will be required.
