Boilermaker – Bayswater Power Station

Location: Bayswater Power Station, near Muswellbrook, NSW

Pay Rate: $50.73 per hour + penalties + allowances

Shifts: Monday to Friday, 6:30 AM – 2:30 PM (Standard Day Shift)

About the Role

WorkPac is currently seeking experienced Boilermakers for long-term opportunities at Bayswater Power Station. You will be responsible for the fabrication, assembly, and repair of heavy plant components and structural steel used in power station infrastructure.

What you will be doing

Fabricate, assemble, and repair steel structures and components to specification

Perform MIG, TIG, and Stick welding, along with cutting, grinding, and shaping of metal

Carry out inspections to ensure quality and safety compliance

Work alongside engineers, supervisors, and trade teams to meet project deadlines

Follow all site safety protocols and participate in daily pre-starts and toolbox talks

What you will need

Trade Qualification – Boilermaker

Proven experience in heavy industry, shutdowns, or power generation

Proficiency in MIG, TIG, and Stick welding

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings

White Card

Valid driver’s licence and reliable transport

Full working rights in Australia
