About the role

Monash Care Disability Services' is seeking a casual Support Worker to join our team in Leonora WA 6438. In this role, you will provide assistance and support to clients with a range of disabilities, helping them to live independently and engage with their local community.

Currently we are looking for casual staff to start with 10-15 hours per week on flexible hours, potential to be increased later.

What you'll be doing

Providing personal care assistance, such as help with bathing, dressing, and grooming

Assisting with household tasks, including cleaning, cooking, and laundry

Supporting clients to participate in social and recreational activities

Advocating for client needs and ensuring their rights are respected

Maintaining accurate records and reporting on client progress

Adhering to all relevant policies, procedures, and legislative requirements

What we're looking for

Preferred to have experience in providing care and support to individuals with a range of disabilities

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Patience, empathy, and a genuine commitment to improving the lives of people with disabilities

A valid driver's licence and reliable vehicle (desirable)
