With a strong reputation in the industry we're seeking a skilled and qualified welder to join the team based in Erskine park only 3 days a week. If you're an experienced welder who is looking to work a 3 day week on an attractive hourly rate then this could be the perfect role for you!

What you'll do

With the exciting opportunity to choose your work days, enjoy the stability of consistent hours working 3 days per week allowing you to enjoy a work/life balance. You will carry out duties such as:

- Welding metal cages that are constructed for storing and moving difficult to handle freight

- Ensure welds meet structural and aesthetic requirements; inspect for defects and rework as necessary

- Follow all safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)

- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production deadlines and quality standards

What you'll need

Aside from the below points, you will hold a valid welder's ticket. Within this position you will be entrusted to work within a team as well as being able to work alone when needed. You will also be required to:

- Have 1-3 years of welding experience, preferably in a fabrication or structural welding environment

- Have the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and measurements

- Be able to manual handle materials up to 20kgs

- Have a positive working attitude
