About the role
We are seeking a Venue Manager who will help open and drive the future business of this brand new venue.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in successful venues and will be seeking an opportunity to lead in a creative, compassionate, and decisive manner. Central to this position is steadfast leadership – the ability to embody a service culture of excellence and genuine hospitality. The roles will require a strategic long-term approach to training, recruitment, and development.

What You've Got

Minimum 2-3 years' experience managing a busy hospitality venue

A valid Victorian RSA

Availability to work nights and weekends

An obsession with providing the best customer experiences

Experience in driving revenues on shift

Proactive, with a sense of urgency and a positive can-do attitude

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Well organised planner who works well under timeline pressures and tackling multiple priorities

Capable problem-solver and thinking on your feet

Proven ability to build and manage relationships with different reps and suppliers

Cocktail, spirit, wine and beer knowledge is a must

Strong leadership and training skills
