We’re looking for a hands-on Supervisor Works who can lead teams, manage contractors and deliver road, drainage and footpath projects to a high standard — safely, on time and within budget.

The Opportunity
As a Supervisor Works, you’ll be responsible for:
Coordinating City crews, contractors, plant and materials across multiple sites
Managing the safe and timely delivery of roads, drainage, and footpath works
Resolving on-site issues, monitoring contractor compliance, and maintaining strong field leadership
Supporting your Coordinator with resource planning and day-to-day operational oversight
Leading from the front on safety, performance and customer service
Dependent on your pay level, you may also participate in the after-hours on-call roster (approx. 1 in 4 weeks) and contribute to the City’s emergency response capacity.
What You’ll Bring
We’re seeking someone with:
Substantial experience supervising civil construction or maintenance teams
Strong knowledge of road, stormwater and footpath works
Proven ability to manage staff performance and site safety
Confidence working with contractors and digital job systems
HR class driver’s licence and a solid understanding of WHS legislation
A Cert III/IV in Civil Construction, traffic management accreditation, or experience with pump stations and switchboards will be highly regarded.

· Level 6/7 salary ($101,013 – $108,719) + super
· Additional Superannuation matching up to 5%
· 17.5% Leave Loading on 4 weeks annual leave
