About the role

Arthur Bakery is searching for a talented Artisan Baker to join our team in our bakery located in Scarborough, Western Australia. As a full-time Artisan Baker, you will be responsible for creating high-quality, handcrafted breads and pastries using traditional techniques and recipes. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a passionate team committed to delivering exceptional baked goods to our local community.

What you'll be doing

Preparing and baking a wide range of breads, pastries, and other baked goods using traditional methods

Ensuring all baked products meet the bakery's high standards for quality, consistency, and presentation

Collaborating with the head baker and production team to develop new recipes and products

Maintaining a clean and organised work environment, adhering to health and safety protocols

Providing excellent customer service and assisting with the display and sale of baked goods

What we're looking for

Minimum 2-3 years of experience as an artisan baker or in a similar role

Formal training or qualifications in baking or culinary arts

Proficient in using a variety of baking equipment and tools

Excellent attention to detail and the ability to follow recipes precisely

Strong time management and organisational skills

Passion for creating high-quality, handcrafted baked goods

Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment
