About the role

Ebenezer Disability Services is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team on a casual basis. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in empowering and supporting individuals with disabilities in the Dubbo NSW 2830 area. Your work will focus on enhancing the independence, wellbeing and quality of life for our clients.

What you'll be doing

Providing personalised support and assistance with daily living activities such as personal care, meal preparation, and community participation

Engaging clients in meaningful social, recreational and educational activities to promote their independence and personal growth

Collaborating with clients, their families, and multi-disciplinary teams to develop and implement individualised support plans

Maintaining accurate documentation and reporting on client progress and care needs

Ensuring a safe and supportive environment for all clients in accordance with Ebenezer's policies and procedures

What we're looking for

A Certificate III or IV in Individual Support or equivalent qualification in the Aged & Disability Support industry

Previous experience working with individuals with disabilities, preferably in a community-based or home-care setting

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients

Resourcefulness, flexibility, and the ability to adapt to the changing needs of clients

A genuine passion for making a positive difference in the lives of people with disabilities

A valid driver's licence and reliable transportation
