About the Role:

We’re looking for a skilled Leading Hand Solar Installer to join our high-performing team at Island Solar. In this role, you’ll take ownership of residential and commercial installs, lead on-site crews, and help deliver top-tier solar and battery solutions.

You won’t just be another cog in the machine — you’ll be a core part of a team that’s focused on quality, efficiency, and doing things right.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Leading solar PV and battery installations across ACT and surrounds

Managing on-site work and junior installers

Communicating with clients and project managers

Ensuring all work meets safety and quality standards

Helping drive job efficiency and team development

What You’ll Need:

SAA Solar Installer Accreditation (essential)

Battery Endorsement (preferred, or willingness to obtain)

Minimum 2+ years hands-on solar installation experience

Strong leadership, communication & problem-solving skills

Driver’s license and own transport

White Card & Working at Heights tickets
