The role

We are looking for a Support Worker to join our team at Krystal Community Care.

We are a registered NDIS provider, based in Melbourne CBD

We offer supports to people with mental health barriers so we need highly skilled people looking for a great challenge. No two days will ever be alike!

As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing professional care. Opening up social interaction and supporting people recovery orientated focus, you will have opportunity to assist people achieve their goals.

This is a casual position initially, and we have various clients, in locations around Melbourne

What you'll be doing

Assisting community members with daily living activities such as personal care, meal preparation, and light housekeeping

Providing social support and companionship to help improve the well-being and independence of our clients

Connecting clients with relevant community services and resources

Supports delivered one to one, in groups onsite and in the community

Participating in team meetings. monthly supervision and training to continuously improve the quality of our care

Maintaining accurate client records and documentation

What we're looking for

A Certificate III or IV in Community Services, Mental Health or a related field

Demonstrated experience in a similar support worker or caregiving role

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse clients

Empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to make a , Mental Hepositive difference in people's lives

Reliable, flexible, and able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

A valid driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle (desirable)
