Biotech Organics – Agricultural Consultant

Biotech Organics, a leading provider of innovative and sustainable agricultural solutions, is currently seeking a qualified and passionate Agricultural Consultant to join our growing team. Applicants must be dedicated to advancing sustainable and organic farming practices and demonstrate a strong ability to provide practical, research-based advice to growers and agricultural businesses. A minimum of a Master’s degree in Agricultural Science, Agronomy, or a related field is required. Highly motivated graduates with relevant postgraduate qualifications are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide advice and guidance to farmers and agricultural businesses on best practices for the production, processing, and distribution of farm products

Conduct research and analysis on agricultural trends, market conditions, and soil and crop data

Evaluate farming operations to identify areas for improved efficiency and sustainability

Develop and implement tailored strategies to enhance farm productivity and profitability

Advise on land use planning, crop selection, and livestock management

Assist in the development and implementation of regenerative and sustainable farming practices

Provide recommendations on pest and weed control, disease management, soil improvement, animal husbandry, and feeding programs

Collaborate with government agencies, research bodies, and industry organisations to support the implementation of agricultural policies and programs

Conduct training sessions, field demonstrations, and workshops for farmers, growers, and agricultural staff

Requirements:

A Master’s degree or higher in Agricultural Science, Agronomy, Soil Science, or a closely related field

At least 1 year of post-qualification experience in agricultural consultancy, farm management, or a related advisory role

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a consultative approach

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Passion for sustainable and organic agricultural systems

Willingness to travel regionally to meet with clients and conduct on-site evaluations

A current Australian driver’s licence
