With decades of proven success across commercial, healthcare, industrial and government sectors, they provide turnkey fire services — from design to installation, commissioning and maintenance.
Due to ongoing growth in their Victoria service and small works division, they are seeking a technically-minded Installation Sales Representative to join their high-performing team in Melbourne.
This role is perfect for a sales professional with experience in the fire, HVAC, electrical or building services industries who is confident inspecting sites, quoting retrofit works, and managing long-term client relationships.
What You’ll Be Doing
In this hands-on, customer-facing sales role, you’ll be working closely with clients across the greater Melbourne region to identify, quote, and close installation works including:
System retrofits.
Compliance-driven upgrades.
Refurbishment and small project installs.
Equipment replacements (fire panels, pumps, hydrants, sprinklers).
Your clients will range from commercial property owners and strata managers to facilities managers and service contractors. You'll also collaborate closely with internal estimators, project coordinators, and technicians.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
Manage and grow a portfolio of commercial, strata and industrial clients.
Conduct site inspections and system assessments to determine upgrade or installation requirements.
Develop compliant, cost-effective solutions aligned with AS1851 and Australia building codes (BCA/NCC).
Prepare and present quotations for system upgrades, component replacements, and minor installations.
Work with estimators, technicians, and service teams to deliver on time and to scope
Build long-term trust with key stakeholders through quality solutions and professional service.
Maintain CRM records, sales pipeline, and weekly reporting.
Actively seek new opportunities with existing and referral clients.
About You
We are seeking someone who is:
Technically minded with 3–5+ years in fire protection or related services (e.g., HVAC, electrical, building services).
Confident quoting and presenting compliant retrofit solutions.
Well-versed in AS1851, BCA/NCC, and relevant state fire regulations.
Experienced in solution-based selling with a commercial mindset.
An excellent communicator who thrives in a fast-paced, client-facing environment.
Self-motivated, organised, and proactive.
Salary & Benefits
$100,000–$120,000 base salary (depending on experience).
Superannuation (12%).
