Your new role

Fitzroy River Water is seeking a positive and self-motivated individual to join our team as a Water Meter Reader. This position primarily works outdoors and carries out duties as an individual however, you will join a friendly and productive team of Water Meter Readers.

This position is responsible for conducting accurate, timely and systematic water reads in line with the programme and the updating and verification of data collected to enable water consumption charges to be levied.

What we are looking for

Self-motivated person who enjoys physical outdoor work

Accurate administrative capabilities and confidence with using computer systems, programs and smart devices

Professional and customer focussed approach

Ability to work autonomously and part of a team

Ability to carry out your duties in a safe manner whilst ensuring the safety of your team members and public

Good communication, written and problem-solving skills

Experience and knowledge of the water industry is highly regarded
