Job title: Registered Psychologist/Provisional Psychologist

Employment status: Full-time or Part-time position immediate start.

Location: Townsville, QLD.

Salary: Up to $125,000 + superannuation + laptop.

AHPRA Board Approved Primary Supervision provided internally to successful 5th year or 6th year Provisional Psychologists.

Join our amazing team

Active Health Psychology is a small team of Psychologists based in Townsville within the Douglas area and Townsville City at the North Queensland Cowboys High Performance Centre. Our ideal candidate is an enthusiastic individual who is keen to engage with a diverse range of clients including children, teenagers and adults. Your responsibilities within this full-time or part-time role would be:

Provide support to those in need with a mix of private health care clients, mental health care plans, NDIS and high performance athletes.

Deliver a range of interventions and assessments to support clients.

Engage in AHPRA board approved supervision internally provided to successful 5th or 6th year Provisional Psychologists.

Have fantastic interpersonal skills, a willingness to learn and an open mind to delivering fun and engaging interventions with our clients.

Engage clients in fun, dynamic interventions including active counselling (e.g. walking with clients).

Work across both clinics in our Douglas and Townsville City locations.

Collaborate in a team of experienced Psychologists

Maintain clear and precise case notes and report writing skills.

Skills and experience

AHPRA Registration or Currently enrolled in 5th or 6th year AHPRA pathways.

National Criminal history check certificate.
