About the role

Traction Ag is seeking an experienced Machinery Salesperson to join our growing team in Naracoorte, SA. This full-time position will play a crucial role in driving sales of our industry-leading agricultural machinery and equipment to farmers and businesses across the region.

What you'll be doing

Building and maintaining strong relationships with new and existing customers

Actively prospecting for new sales opportunities and managing the sales pipeline

Providing expert advice and guidance to customers on the right machinery and equipment for their needs

Negotiating sales contracts and closing deals

Collaborating with the wider sales and technical teams to deliver exceptional customer service

Attending trade shows, field days and other industry events to promote our products

Analysing sales data and market trends to identify new opportunities

What we're looking for

Proven track record in machinery or agricultural equipment sales, with a minimum of 2 years experience

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers

In-depth knowledge of agricultural machinery and equipment, including their features, benefits and applications

Strong negotiation and closing skills, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service

Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment

A passion for the agricultural industry and a commitment to staying up-to-date with industry trends and developments
