ABOUT THE ROLE
Inspire the next generation of Civil and Transport students with hands-on training at a premier facility, guiding learners to success in a dynamic, rewarding role.
As a Teacher Civil and Transport, you’ll deliver high-quality training and assessments in Civil and Transport programs, aligned with AQF and WorkSafe Victoria standards. Based at the Logic Centre in Barnawartha and supporting DECA Shepparton Campus, you’ll work with both corporate clients and public students, ensuring engaging, outcome-focused learning. The role also involves administrative support, program coordination, and collaboration with industry contacts, students and team members. Occasional travel to other Institute sites may be required.
Selected Duties:
Deliver engaging training in Civil and Transport Corporate and Public courses and licensing, both theory and practical.
Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support learning.
Develop and maintain relevant and up-to-date course content and resources.
Support students to achieve their learning goals, providing guidance and mentorship.
Collaborate with other teachers and departments to ensure a well-rounded education.
ABOUT YOU
Skills & Experience

2 years relevant industry experience in Civil and Transport with a passion for teaching.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students.
Must be able to undertake a pre-employment medical.
Desirable: Current TAE40122, or willingness to obtain.
Desirable: Current Victorian Working with Children Check or current Victorian Institute of Teaching registration or willingness to obtain.
