LJs Plumbing is expanding and we are on the hunt for a qualified tradie, who is a self-starter and does not mind getting down and dirty.

At LJs we pride ourselves on offering a fast, efficient, and friendly plumbing service to our clients. We have developed a fun and positive culture and have a very friendly hell yeah attitude, without losing focus. Which is why we are one of the most likeable plumbing companies in Cairns.

Our tradies wear polos (supplied), enjoy a Friday arvo beer. Here at LJS we have a flat corporate structure where the Director is as involved and engaged as you are.

Our workflow and compliance is simplified through the smart use of technology and we speak to our clients in plain English. We don’t have flashy offices and our kids have created art on our desks. Importantly we provide solutions to our clients and their plumbing problems.

We want more than your average plumber with an arsenal of basic tools and steel cap boots…

• Qualified and QBCC Licensed – Well Duh… Look, as long as you know the diff between a shifter and a wrench, we will consider apprentices in their 4th year.
• Problem solver – come to the rescue of all our client’s sh*tty problems with some elbow grease, that winning smile and always positive disposition.
• Cleaner - We do need you to be domesticated because we like to leave places as if we were never there. This basic skill set is desired; however, we can show you how to use a mop and vacuum…that’s easy.
• Media Specialist - We are always showing off by sending our clients photos of our work. If the ipad happens to be on selfie mode, that is fine too… some of these can be good for socials, so we want you to snap away.
• IT guru - LJs is super tech savvy, we have iPads to record all our jobs and have all our compliance paperwork on these little tech delights. We use aroflo, Its ok, If you don’t know how to use this program... we will get one of our younger tech savvy tradies to show you how.

We are looking for someone who possess all the above skills, who is dynamic and enjoys a wide variety of jobs. We have a wide range of clients from homeowners, strata managers though to large development companies. With this diverse client base, we can provide a challenging and rewarding career. We are not interested in job hoppers. We are looking for someone who is committed, passionate and driven.

We will lend you one of our fully stocked and maintained vans. You can take home and tuck in safely at night. It will be your job to keep this one clean and tidy. We will require a current, valid Australian driver’s license before we do this.

This is a full-time position with above award wages and superannuation.
