Are you an experienced Registered Nurse ready for the next step in your career? Or already managing an aged care facility and looking for a change of lifestyle? We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional care to older people and we want you to help us deliver that at our Garran Aged Care Facility. We are looking for a Facility Manager to join our team!
The Role: Monday - Friday 76 hours per fortnight - 09.00 - 17.00.
You will be responsible for the operational leadership and management of resources to effectively and efficiently deliver services to meet the needs of residents of the aged care facility.
Your role will incorporate:
Planning, control and directing the provision of a range of high quality personal, clinical care and support services that encourage and enable residents to maintain their autonomy and independence
Managing the budgetary requirements of the facility
Managing the smooth running of the facility on a day-to-day basis
Leading the team and managing staff performance, recruitment and selection and building a positive culture within the team
Ensuring all SCC policies and procedures are implemented and followed, taking a continuous improvement approach whilst adhering to all accreditation standards.

Requirements
You could be either a Registered Nurse with extensive Aged Care and ANACC experience looking for your next career step or already managing a facility and looking for a change of scenery.
In addition, you will have:
A motivational leadership style with the ability to build a collaborative team environment
Experience managing a 24/7 roster and workforce planning
Proficient numeracy skills - reconciliations, reporting and budgeting
Sensitivity to and understanding of the aspirations and needs of older people with the ability to connect with them, their families, and the local community
Evidence of COVID-19 & influenza vaccinations
An ability to communicate effectively with internal teams within the wider company and build strong professional relationships
Current APHRA registered RN
