The role:
In this role, you will deliver essential medical care to ill and injured workers, manage emergency response situations, conduct routine health assessments, and support the overall well-being of site personnel. Successful candidates will demonstrate flexibility, strong clinical skills, the confidence to work autonomously, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

• Provide immediate medical assistance during emergencies, such as injuries, cardiac events, heat stress, or incidents involving heavy machinery.
• Stabilise patients and coordinate with emergency services where required.
• Conduct routine health checks and monitor chronic conditions.
• Manage the day-to-day operations of the on-site medical clinic.
• Ensure medical supplies and equipment are stocked, maintained, and compliant.
• Promote overall health and well-being among workers.
• Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety legislation and company policies.
• Prepare reports and incident documentation as required.

What You’ll Bring:

• Minimum 18 months in Emergency or Remote Critical Care Settings
• Prior experience on mining or industrial sites
• Bachelor of Science (Nursing) or equivalent
• Current and unrestricted AHPRA registration (Registered Nurse: Division 1)
• Advanced Life Support (ALS1/ALS2)
• HLTPAT005 - Collect specimens for drugs of abuse testing
• Class 'C' Manual Drivers Licence
• Intravenous Cannulation Competent
• Strong computer literacy

Highly Desirable:

• Certificate III in Mine Emergency Response
• Trauma Qualification (e.g., TNCC).
• White Card
• Experience using clinical and safety management software (e.g., Cority, Donesafe, INX etc.)
