We offer a part-time role (4 days per week) based at our Head Office in Coniston, located in serene Dharawal Country. Understanding the complexity of our organisation is important to us - so travel across our footprint is required from time to time.

Let's talk role specifics

This opportunity encompasses several priority areas which is perfect for those who value autonomy, creativity and challenge in their work. Some of your duties will include:

  • Leading our Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) and Reconciliation Action Plan Working Group (RWG).
  • Developing, implementing and maintaining our Disability Inclusion Action Plan (DIAP).
  • Design and delivery of learning and development activities that enhance cultural safety in the workplace.
  • Support our leaders to understand and achieve their cultural safety objectives and obligations.
  • Establishing working relationships with external stakeholders and representing the organisation at diversity and inclusion events.
  • Managing communication channels to uplift the workforce’s understanding of cultural safety and participation in initiatives.
  • Implementing the annual Inclusion Index survey across the organisation and reporting on outcomes.
  • Compiling monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc reports on workforce diversity metrics.

About you

Our ideal candidate will showcase their success in leading workforce diversity and inclusion initiatives, particularly designing and implementing First Nations initiatives. Additionally, you are:

  • Adept in using evidence-based sources and information to develop strategically informed project plans.
  • An expert in communicating and presenting confidently and persuasively to diverse audiences.
  • Able to lead, influence and collaborate with a wide variety of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Agile in your approach in thinking and problem solving to overcome challenges.
  • Skilled in data analysis and reporting.
  • Hold a bachelor’s degree in commerce, human resources, business, health and safety, psychology or related discipline (desirable).

Previous experience in the Community Services or Health Sector will be highly regarded. However, we welcome applications from all industries.

  • Base salary package based on 4 days per week of $88,000-$91,000 plus a phone and travel allowance and superannuation, dependent upon relevant experience and qualifications.
