We are seeking a motivated and friendly Dental Technician to join our team. This role provides the flexibility of working on an as-needed basis and is ideal for someone to a dynamic and varied schedule. You will assist in providing exceptional care to our patients whilst ensuring that each visit is comfortable and efficient.

Key Responsibilities

Construct dental prosthetics including crowns, bridges, dentures, veneers and orthodontic devices

Use impressions provided by dentists to construct models of patients’ mouths and teeth

Use technical drawings, digital software or hand-sculpting to create devices that match patient anatomy and aesthetic needs

Ensure all devices are smooth, comfortable and visually natural before delivery to dentist

Operate casting machines, microscopes, 3D printers and digital scanners for precise fabrication

Prepare materials for dental procedures

Maintain and sterilise dental equipment and instruments

Follow infection control procedures to ensure cleanliness and an organised environment

Maintain detailed and up-to-date patient records

Assist dentists during procedures

Manage stock levels of dental materials and supplies

Qualifications and Skills

Relevant Diploma or higher or at least 3 years of relevant work experience

Knowledge of infection control and sterilisation procedures

Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

A friendly and professional demeanour

Ability to work efficiently in a team environment and to adapt to changing schedules
