We are currently seeking experienced Agency Nurses to fill a potential contract role as a Clinical Nurse Consultant (Grade 6) in Diabetes at Launceston General Hospital, Tasmania.

This is a rare opportunity to step into a senior leadership role within a supportive and highly regarded hospital setting. The successful candidate will work Monday to Friday – day shifts only, with the contract running ASAP through until 12 September 2025.

About the Role:

Diabetes CNC (Grade 6) – full-time agency contract

Located at Launceston General Hospital, TAS

Monday to Friday – no weekend or night shifts

Contract runs from ASAP through to 12 September 2025

Travel and accommodation provided from anywhere in Australia or New Zealand

Candidate Requirements:

Clinical Nurse Consultant with minimum 2–3 years of experience in Diabetes.

Grade 6 CNC preferred, however, highly experienced Clinical Nurse Educators (CNEs) with strong diabetes expertise will be considered

Must have AUS/NZ experience

Current AHPRA registration

Proven clinical knowledge and leadership in diabetes management

Prepared to start as soon as possible.
