CK Recruitment are working with our client, a local government organisation based in Western Sydney who are looking for a dedicated Maintenance Plumber to join the Infrastructure & Public Works team.

The Role
As a Maintenance Plumber, you’ll play a key role in maintaining council-owned facilities, ensuring the reliability and safety of our water, drainage, and plumbing systems across parks, public buildings, amenities blocks, and other council infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

Perform maintenance, repairs, and installations of plumbing systems.

Respond to plumbing-related service requests and emergencies.

Conduct inspections and preventative maintenance.

Ensure all work is compliant with relevant codes, standards, and council policies.

Maintain accurate records of completed work and materials used.

Liaise with internal departments and external contractors when required.

About You

Trade qualification in Plumbing with a current NSW (or applicable state) Plumbing Licence.

Proven experience in maintenance plumbing, preferably in a local government or facilities management environment.

Current White Card (Construction Induction).

Valid driver's licence (MR licence desirable).

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Strong commitment to workplace safety and environmental practices.

Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
