The Role
Metier Recruitment is seeking an Team Assistant who embodies discretion, confidentiality, and critical thinking while demonstrating accessibility, diligence, and thoroughness.
In this key role, you will report to a CRO and COO, managing travel arrangements, coordinating calendars, and facilitating smooth communication with overlapping departments.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
Provide high-level administrative support to the COO, including diary management, travel coordination, and drafting correspondence.
Screen and manage internal and external enquiries via phone and email with professionalism and discretion.
Coordinate meetings and events, including scheduling, agenda preparation, minute-taking, and catering/room setup for both onsite and offsite functions.
Support organisational initiatives such as staff training, conferences, social functions, and Board dinners.
Liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and logistics.
Assist with documentation and compliance activities, including support under the Financial Accountability Regime (FAR).
Provide general office support and reception cover, contributing to a collaborative and well-organised workplace.
About You
2–3 years’ experience in administrative or executive support roles, with a proven ability to deliver high-quality outcomes.
Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, with a professional and collaborative approach.
Highly organised, with excellent time management and the ability to prioritise tasks in a dynamic environment.
Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills and the initiative to work independently.
Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality.
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, Teams and SharePoint (intermediate to advanced) and confident using digital tools to support team operations.
Adaptable and responsive, with a commitment to continuous improvement and building positive working relationships.
