About the role

We are seeking an experienced Chef/Cook to join our team at the Old Butter Factory in the charming town of Bellingen, NSW. In this casual role, you will be responsible for preparing and serving delicious breakfast and lunch dishes to our customers. With a focus on fresh, local ingredients, you will play a key part in delivering an exceptional dining experience.

What you'll be doing

Prepare and cook a wide variety of breakfast and lunch menu items

Working on both Hot & Cold section & learning the whole menu

Ensure all food is prepared to the highest standards of quality and presentation

Maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment

Collaborate with the team to deliver efficient service

Adhere to all food safety and hygiene regulations

What we're looking for

Proven experience as a Chef/Cook, preferably in a hospitality or catering environment

Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques and presentation

Excellent time management and multitasking abilities

A keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards

Ability to work effectively in a team and under pressure

Food safety certification or willingness to obtain
