We are seeking dedicated and compassionate MALE Disability Support Workers to join our team supporting a male young adult living with autism in a 24/7 group home environment located in Peakhurst, NSW.

This is a casual role with flexible hours (up to 38 hours/week), ideal for someone passionate about person-centred care and confident in supporting clients with challenging behaviours of concern.

About the Role:

You will be supporting a male client with:

Complex behavioural needs (including aggression)

Daily seizures

Autism and high sensory needs

Support includes:

Community participation

Personal care

Household tasks and meal preparation

Behaviour management and redirection

Medication administration

Active overnight care, including cleaning and documentation

Shift times:

Morning: 7:00am – 3:00pm

Afternoon: 3:00pm – 10:00pm

Active Overnight: 10:00pm – 7:00am

Shifts available 7 days a week.

What We’re Looking For:

Experience with autism and complex behaviours (highly desirable)

Strong communication and written English skills

Calm, patient and reliable with a trauma-informed approach

Willingness to learn and work as part of a dedicated team

Requirements:

NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)

Working With Children Check

Completion of NDIS Online Modules (or willingness to complete)

Current driver's licence

Australian working rights

First Aid

CPR

Manual Handling

Seizure Management training will be provided.
