Programmed is currently seeking enthusiastic Outdoor Activity Instructors to join a well-established team at a premier sport and recreation venue on the Sunshine Coast that offers accommodation, sporting facilities and adventure activities for individual and group use.

Position options are available including:

· Casual positions with up to 35 hours per week

· Shifts available Monday to Sunday between 8am and 9pm

As an Outdoor Instructor you will be a key member of the team responsible for engaging with participants while delivering a range of instructor-led activities under the department’s program delivery framework ensuring a safe, fun and high-quality customer experience.

Duties and responsibilities will include, however are not limited to:

- Safe facilitation of high-quality sport and recreation activities and programs for individuals and groups in line with venue procedures.

- Providing input to the development and continuous improvement of a broad range of community-based program and other initiatives as required, to increase the participation of Queenslanders in sport and recreation programs.

- Assisting with the implementation of, and adhering to, risk management and activity specific policies and procedures for the safe, efficient, and effective running of programs and activities.

- Ensuring that accompanying teachers / group leaders have a clear understanding of their roles and responsibilities while conducting activities at the Venue.

What we are looking for:

- Experience and/or accreditation in Outdoor Recreation or Outdoor Leadership

- Positive Blue card (Paid Employment)

- Current Driver’s License

- Current First Aid and CPR certificate.
